AED Lifestart Series

The LifeStartTM
1400 Series cabinets are designed to hold an AED like the Medtronic
Physio-Control LIFEPAK® 500 or the new LIFEPAK® CR Plus Defibrillator.
The Olympus 7900 Series Cabinets are designed to hold an AED and emergency
oxygen unit. The Olympus 1600 Series Cabinets are designed to hold an emergency
oxygen unit. The American Heart Association states: “During cardiopulmonary
emergencies use supplemental oxygen as soon as it is available. Short-term
therapy with 100% oxygen is beneficial and not toxic. We recommend oxygen … for
all patients with suspected acute coronary syndromes.” (Guidelines 2000,
Section 3: Adjuncts for oxygenation).
All Life Safety AED and Oxygen cabinets come standard with a Commander Alarm
and “Emergency Defibrillator”, “ Emergency Oxygen”, “Warning Alarm System” and
“Warning for use by trained people only” graphics.

ORDERING PROCEDURE

Is the AED needed?
If yes, specify the LIFEPAK® 500 or the LIFEPAK® CR Plus Defibrillator.

Is the emergency oxygen unit needed?
If yes, specify the TXO2 Automated Emergency Oxygen Unit.

Is the wall fire-rated?
If so select FIRE-FXTM option, unless the cabinet is surface mounted. Model #
shown in red in table below.

Does A.D.A. code apply in the areas the cabinets are
stationed? If so, select a cabinet with a 1-1/2” or 3” trim style. Model #
shown in blue in table below.

Select tub style (first 2 digits of part #)

Select trim and Door material: steel, clear anodized
aluminum, # 4 brushed stainless steel, bronze or brass.

Select tub material: steel, mill finish aluminum or # 4
brushed stainless steel (3rd digit of part #)

Added Security
SAF-T-LOK - Our SAF-T-LOK
cam lock design allows you to open the cabinet door by pulling sharply on the
handle, yet secure enough to prevent vandalism typically associated with
standard pull handles
• Special Graphics on Cabinet “In Case of Emergency Firmly Pull Handle”
SAF-T-CLASP – A plastic Pull-Snug-Seal can be attached through the handle of
the AED cabinet. When the cabinet door is opened the seal would be broken.
• Seals quickly and easily
• Easily twisted off by hand
Warranty
Subject to the limitations and exclusions set forth
below. Medtronic Physio-Control warrants that Physio-Control products
which are purchased for use in the United States from authorized Physio-control
representatives or dealers and are used in accordance with their instructions
will be free from defects in material and workmanship appearing under normal
service and use as follows:
Five years: New LIFEPAK 500 or CR plus automated
external defibrillators
