J.L. Industries now offers TxO2 Emergency Medical Oxygen and the LIFEPAK 500
Automated External Defibrillator in separate or combined Olympus Series
cabinets for in-wall and surface mount installation. The Olympus Series
cabinets have battery powered alarms and remote enunciator capability (when the
door is opened), thus providing theft deterrence and security office awareness
of a usage.
The TxO2 is the only automated
oxygen unit in existence (US patent #5,123,409) and is housed in our Olympus
Series cabinet to secure the unit. It has an indefinite shelf-life and
minimum maintenance. The LIFEPAK 500 is a state-of-the-art automated
defibillator designed for ease of use and minimum maintenance. Both units
meet all U.S. Food and Drug Administration certification requirements.
Ample room exists within the cabinets for additional first aid supplies.
The blue highlighted cabinets are ADA compliant and fir in 4" or 6" walls.
The use of AEDs and oxygen are
rapidly becoming popular and expected equipment for first aid responders to
life threatening medical emergencies prior to EMS arrival. They are now
being taught by all the major first aid training organizations such as
American
Red Cross (as promoted by
American Heart Association). Emergency oxygen should be administered for
any suspected life-threatening illness or injury. It has no harm
potential and may save a life. Emergency defibrillation should be
attempted if the victim is unconscious and pulse less. Time is of the
essence. The availability and accessibility of this equipment in fixed,
known locations offers the responder and victim the best opportunity for a
positive outcome.
The J.L. Olympus 7900 Series
includes Medtronic Physio Controls LIFEPAK 500 automated external
defibrillator, keyed alarm entry with on/off position, key graphics and full
acrylic door.
The Olympus 1600 Series cabinet
includes the TxO2 emergency oxygen unit, alarm, and full acrylic bubble door.
These stations are designed to
be used by first responders to cardiac life threatening emergencies.
The cabinet itself is available
in white powder coated steel, clear anodized aluminum, #4 satin stainless
steel, polished brass and satin bronze.
Olympus Series cabinets may be
specified or purchased without AED for applications where AEDs are already on
location and need to be housed with TxO2 units.
